Half the Sky by Yin Mei
Half the Sky (Yellow Woman) is a dance theater and visual performance conceived and choreographed by Yin Mei, the Residency Artist at Baryshnikov Arts Center.
Half the Sky (Yellow Woman) is an abstract work of self-portraiture, a dance that captures a moment of 'becoming', it involves interactive storytelling through motion and responding to enduring myths surrounding women, especially Asian women, across generations.
